Haveli Bistro: Experience Authentic Indian Cuisine in Columbus

This was my first time dining at an Indian restaurant, my husband has been for years. I wanted to surprise him at a place he hasn’t been before. It was so delicious. We ordered the veggie samosas, vegan Chana masala and tikka chicken with garlic naan and garlic roti. The space is cute, nice servers and amazing food. We did spice level 2 since we are headed to a concert, next time I’m going to 4. We cannot wait to come back.

We had an amazing dinner here. They offered a 4 course Restaurant Week Meal so we were able to try many items. They were all delicious and the service was great. The seating was lovely and I especially like their lights. Definitely recommend!

Everyone did an amazing job: The food was one of a kind. The busser was such a sweet young lady who helped keep the tables cleared and the atmosphere clean. And she did it all with a smile. The cooks tonight made every meal look amazing. I had such a hard time choosing but I was very satisfied with my choice which the server recommended. Our server was excellent. She also recommended the best wine! Thank you. She ran several tables but the server always made sure we had everything we needed. She is very skilled! We visited on 11/3 so please thank everyone that worked that night. You all do an amazing job and we will be back. So many more things I cannot wait to try. I highly recommend the is restaurant. Worth the hour drive we took to visit!

Pretty good as indian restaurants go. Service staff were welcoming and friendly and checked in often. Bourbon cocktail was smoked but watery. Beer list is limited. Butter chicken, sag paneer, chicken tikka all tender and delicious though. I do wish they'd provide a discount on the parking right behind the restaurant though, especially on off nights. Also, be wary on cold nights. The front door is a single, so cold wind blasts thru every time the door opens. Tables near the door will be cold. They should replace the silver metal chains near the door with heavy fabric in the winter to keep the cold out, or add a winterized extra door to add protection.

First-time Indian cuisine — blown away! My girlfriend and I tried Indian food for the first time tonight, and we could not have picked a better place. Everything we ordered was incredible — from the Chicken Tikka Masala to the naan, rice, and appetizer. The flavors were bold but balanced, and the presentation was great. The atmosphere was amazing — warm, relaxing, and upscale without being pretentious. You can tell they care about the experience just as much as the food. A special shoutout to our server, Anusha, who was absolutely fantastic. She took her time explaining the dishes, made great recommendations, and made us feel completely comfortable trying something new. Her kindness made the evening even better. We loved every single thing we tried and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone — especially if you’re new to Indian cuisine!

Had an amazing experience at Haveli Bistro! The Chicken Andhra was packed with bold, authentic spice and deep flavor—perfect heat level and cooked beautifully. The Lamb Vindaloo was tender and rich with that classic tangy kick, easily one of the best I’ve had. Paired everything with fresh, buttery garlic naan, which was soft and perfect for soaking up all the sauces. Great food, great flavors, and a meal that really hit the spot. Will definitely be back!

We visited Haveli Bistro recently and absolutely loved the experience. The starters were really good, and we ordered chicken and mutton biryani — both were delicious and full of flavor.
